CMS vs Cloud-Based CMS: Choosing the right software for retail

When it comes to managing your digital signage content the right software makes all the difference. At TNF Digital Signage, we offer two options; Plug and Play or CMS. 


Plug and Play

Plug and Play is ideal for single-location stores and where you don’t need to schedule different media. You basically add video or picture content to a USB stick that you plug directly into your screen. It downloads the content to the screen but only plays one file, so will not allow scheduling of multiple images or videos.


Content Management System (CMS)

Our CMS system is perfect for multi-locations and/or when images and videos require scheduling. You manage the content remotely from any device with internet access. Screens are updated in real-time even across multiple stores, ensuring brand consistency. You add content and set timings and how long it plays for (eg. great for food outlets who want breakfast and lunch menus to show at different times). You can even design your own branded slides with touch points (applicable to digital touch screen units only).

Our CMS is easy to use and manage and requires a reoccurring annual fee. If designing, writing and creating the content yourselves is a step too far we can, of course, manage the digital content creation directly for you.
